Property Investment - Costa del Sol

THE CLIMATE - THE BEST IN EUROPE

The Costa del Sol includes about 300 km of the Spanish Mediterranean Coast belonging to the Provinces of Granada, Malaga and Cadiz. It is protected from the northern winds by a mountain chain which sometimes reaches down to the edge of the sea.
This privileged coast consists of a series of large beaches, coves half-hidden among cliffs, sports harbours and fishing grounds.

One of the main attractions of the Costa del Sol is undoubtedly the mild climate and scant rainfall. A good indication of the generally moderate climate is a semitropical vegetation with frequent palm-trees, cypresses, oleander and hibiscus and with flowers blooming all year round.
The proximity of the very different countryside which has all the attractive features of the Mediterranean scenery and culture - mountains, national parks, valleys full of orchards - is undoubtedly one of the main attractions of this coast.
This area is off the normal tourist track and offers peace and seclusion in tranquil settings backed by the marvellous scenery of the mountains.

That the Andalusians are among the most friendly, courteous and generous in the world is evidenced by the fact that so many people (over 40 nationalities) have made the area their permanent home.      You can enjoy the very best of two worlds with a property in Coín, just 20 minutes drive from the coast.

PROPERTY INVESTMENT

The transformation of the Costa Del Sol over the last 15 years from a string of tiny fishing villages into a fully developed resort area, surpassing even the French Riviera in terms of investment, has increased the permanent population tremendously - both Spanish and foreign.
Today communicated with access through motorways and highways to everywhere; the airport, which is projected with ambition, to cover future exigencies until the year 2006 completes an exceptional connection centre to the Costa del Sol.

Currently, the Spanish property market is very buoyant. Property prices rose at least 30% in 1998 over the previous year. More and more people are buying property as an investment where they know that they will get a secure return on their capital.
Spain boasts a continuous and stable property demand, property owners are offered favourable tax incentives and the costs are not as high as one might expect.
